🍒🍫 Yes, please! Decadent Choco-cherry pie smoothie recipe ahead!
Today I am going to share a delicious recipe with you.
Seriously … rich chocolate … sweet cherries … nutty oats … is your mouth watering yet?
🥧 This chocolate cherry pie smoothie tastes like dessert, but it’s actually great for you.
You can use any dairy-free milk you want, but oat milk makes it creamy and smooth!
✅ TIP: If you want to boost the protein, try adding ½ to 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder. It’s delicious either way.
CHOCO-CHERRY PIE SMOOTHIE
(Makes 1 smoothie)
2 tbsp rolled oats
½ cup (120 ml) oat milk
1 tsp cocoa powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 cup fresh or frozen cherries (Sainsburry's frozen section)
1 tsp maple syrup
(optional: ½ to 1 scoop chocolate protein powder)
Place the rolled oats in a high-speed blender and pulse until they are well-ground. If using protein powder, add it now, and then pulse 1-2 more times to combine.
Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. If necessary, add
more milk to reach the desired consistency. You can thank me later! :-)
